Home Instead Senior Care and Heartland Home Health and Hospice will be hosting a “Facts and Snacks” program for the Ottawa County community. The focus of event, which will be held the first Tuesday of the month, is to give the community continuing education about various topic surrounding aging. The “Facts and Snacks” program will be held at Riverview Healthcare Campus, 8180 West State Route 163, Oak Harbor. Participants can attend at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room, side A.
The first session will be held on April 2. Topics will include Aging 101: Understanding the Terms of Aging and Hospice 101: what is hospice, when is hospice appropriate for my loved one, who pays for hospice, and much more.
